Seek guidance he always replies!
Facing a difficult time due to loss of job – Months of hardship follows – Swamiji advised to write Jai Shree Ram – Lighting diya day and night – 2 job offers after a week – guidance received to select the right job
My husband was working with a reputed organization for a period of 8 years as a Marketing Manager. He worked very hard for the company, however he was sacked because the company could not afford him. He had no job for a period of 5 months which worried us especially because my kids would not be able to continue their education if visa was cancelled. Times were hard and I remember all of us spending sleepless nights, not knowing what to do.
One night I was very restless and started crying while deeply praying to God to send some angels to pull us out from this problem. As soon as I fell asleep, I dreamt about two young girls opening my main door and a beam of white light showering into our house, signaling the end of darkness in our lives. This woke me up and the first name that came in my mind was of Sunita, who was aware of my problems.
I got in touch with her and she advised me to speak to Swamiji, who asked my husband to write “Jai Shree Ram” and read Hanuman Chalisa. He told us to stay in the country instead of returning back to India, plus he assured us that he would soon get a job.
However, several months passed away without a job and the visa was about to get cancelled. We were desperate to speak to Swamiji, but couldn’t as he was in India. So I got in touch with my friend Shalu who spoke to Swamiji and conveyed our message to him. He advised us to continue writing “Jai Shree Ram”, which we did. My friend Sunita asked me to light a lamp in front of Hanumanji’s murti, since I didn’t have one Sunita sent in hers along with Swamiji’s photo (though we were unable to speak to him, we feel he made his presence in the form of his photo in our house). We regularly lit the lamp and decided that we would keep the flame burning continuous for days and nights together till my husband gets a job. Early morning on 7th day the flame went off and when I again lit the lamp, I could smell sweet fragrance which lasted just for a second. Swamiji considers the sweet smell as signal of God’s presence in our home.
The following day my husband got two job offers. We prayed to Hanumanji to give us a signal to choose the right job. The day my husband was about to leave for an interview, the door bell rang, but when I opened the door, there was no at the door but I could clearly hear the footsteps. This I took as Gods indication and eventually when we received further details, it turned out to be right choice.
This experience has strengthened my belief in Swamiji and Hanumanji. We are also very thankful to Sunita and Shalu for their moral support and timely guidance.
