Protection in a dream from a fatal injury
Realise passports missing when filling disembarkment forms in flight – pray to and remembered Swamiji for an indication – Airport staff advises that passports found and to arive on next flight – Allowed to leave airport without passports.
In a dream…
I had dreamt about Swamiji on Wednesday night, about the weekly pooja in temple which is held every Thu. In the dream I saw myself leaving the temple before the completion of the pooja, which is quite contrary to our regular practice since we never leave temple until the pooja is over and the Prasad is distributed. This surprised me and I woke up from my sleep, wondering about the significance of the dream. Next day we went to temple as usual, but I had to leave early since I got phone call from my son’s friend who told me my son had incurred an injury. I immediately left the temple and was reminded of the dream which came true. I believe the dream heralded the fact that Swamji always protects us, since my son could have incurred a fatal injury as he fell over nails, wire and other sharp debris at a construction site. But he escaped with a minor fracture on his left wrist and he could still appear for his exams as his right hand was intact. We truly believe Swamiji takes care of us and protects us all the while.
Recovering passports left behind before boarding
This incident is about our trip to Delhi to attend our cousin’s wedding. It was one of the most unusual flight trips as we found we had forgotten our passports and tickets when we were asked to fill-up the dis-embarkment form distributed in flight for Indian immigration and customs. We had the passports and tickets in a black pouch for boarding the flight, but we were unable to find it in the flight. In the panic stake, we were trying to recollect where we would have kept it and was seriously wondering if we had forgotten is somewhere. I dearly remembered Swamji and hoped to get any kind of signal or indication of whereabouts of the pouch. The very minute I thought of Swamji, the passenger seated next to us mentioned, he had seen a black pouch on a chair in the security check area before boarding flight. This confirmed our doubts and we were really worried how would we could get out of the airport and if we would ever find our lost passports and tickets. While getting off the plane, a ground staff was calling out our name as they were informed of our lost passports by the security officials who found our pouch. This was nothing short of a miracle and brought joy and relief, however we were informed that we couldn’t leave the airport unless the passports were received in the next flight which would only be on the next day. This would mean we would have to spend our time at Delhi airport and also miss out on wedding, for which we came to Delhi in the very fist place. We requested the ground staff to liaise with any top official who could allow us to leave, however he couldn’t help any further and asked us to collect our luggage. When we approached the baggage area, we happened to meet an immigration official and narrated the entire incident to him. He re-checked with the airline staff, who showed him our passport copy and confirmed our claims. We expected him to haggle and question us further, but instead he easily gave us the permission to leave with assurance we would return when the passports would arrive in next flight. We were surprised and couldn’t believe our good fortune, as we were allowed to leave immediately without even screening our luggage. We all duly credit this miraculous escape to Swamji and our faith in Hanumaji who truly protects his followers.
